Lina has also built the “Hope House”, a ground-breaking documentary that won 2 Academy Awards in 2004 and the social impact campaign, strategized by Lina has raised over $1M USD thru fundraisers and equity partners, to help build two schools in Calcutta, India. Each school accepts 100 girls every year to teach them nursing to help prevent the young females off the streets of the ‘red light district’ as they are often forced into prostitution at a very early age.
