Shortly About Me

For 25 years Paul has worked his way around the music industry, starting as a Trumpet player with The National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Great Britain and The European Youth Jazz Orchestra.

In 1982, Paul started working in motion pictures appearing and playing in the Paul McCartney Film, “Give my regards to Broad Street” and playing on the Francis Ford Coppolla and George Lucas Film “Tucker”.

By 1983, Paul then joined Wham! recording “Wake Me Up before You Go-Go” and touring with them until they split in 1985. Soon after Paul started recording with Elton John (Ice on Fire) and appeared at Live Aid events featuring Elton John and George Michael alongside other well known musicians.

In late 1987 Paul then toured the USA with Charlie Watts and his big band recording an album with the “Rolling Stones” (Steel Wheels).

In 1988, Paul joined  rock band Wet, Wet, Wet, and remained with them for 9 years on tour and recorded seven albums, including “Love is all Around” for the movie “Four Weddings and a Funeral”.

By 1996, Paul entered into the tv and film world as a music supervisor. Notable credits include Captain Correlli Mandolin, Tomorrow Never Dies and much more.

By 1997, Paul was requested to join Robbie Williams at the Brit Awards and continued to record and tour till 2003.

In early 2001, Paul started his career as a Music Supervisor on the film “Shoreditch” starring Joley Richardson and Shane Richie. For this film, Paul produced and recorded  Elton John’s reputable song “Makin’ Whoopee”.

Paul has worked with many top musicians including Elton John, Ray Charles, Phil Collins, Pet Shop Boys, Spice Girls, Natalie Cole, Cher and Rolling Stones to name a few.
